The Rotary Club of Vero Beach (Vero's 1st Club - 1926) proudly presents our 2nd Annual Rotary Kids Triathlon.  This event will allow elementary and middle school children between the ages of 6-13 to participate in a Swim, Bike, and Run multi-sport youth event that is geared for both 1st time triathletes and seasoned competitive triathletes.  There will also be a RELAY TEAM category in both the Junior and Senior Divisions - which allows children, who may not be comfortable completing one or two of the three sport segments, to have a friend or family member or two complete the segment(s) that they may not wish to complete.  Also, a child who is either a novice or non-swimmer would be placed in a swim lane where they are able to walk on the bottom of the heated pool to complete the swim segment.  There is also an Adaptive Athlete Division for those children with a disability.

 

Under the management direction of Integrity Multisport (https://integritymultisport.com/), our event is Safe, Fun, and Professional.  Race Central and the swim/wade will be located at the Gifford Aquatic Center, the bike/ride will be an out-and-back course along 43rd Avenue (closed for traffic, and within and adjacent to the Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex), and the run/walk will be entirely within the boundaries of the Victor Hart Sr. CEC.  All distances are short relative to all other triathlons throughout the country, underscoring our objective to be all-inclusive for EVERY child. - and NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY!

 

ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TOWARDS YOUTH PROGRAMS IN OUR COMMUNITY.
