Aside from providing $2,400 of scholarships to the top presenters each year, the Rotary Club of Vero Beach is actively involved with IRSC students throughout the year, providing guidance, support, and encouragement, and connecting students with specific business leaders. Other projects include one-on-one student mentoring, participating in the Annual IRSC Speed Networking Event, arranging lectures for IRSC classes with successful business partners, and providing Rotary International introductions to IRSC faculty and students traveling and studying abroad.
Indian River State College
Another Successful Student Mentorship Project by the Rotary Club of Vero Beach! The pictures below was taken at one of the annual Indian River State College Expo Events in 2019, where students were able to discuss their business ideas and network with Rotarian business leaders in the community.

In the picture below, there are six members of the Rotary Club of Vero Beach and four IRSC students. The student on the far right, Arielle Bagby, is a prior Student Expo winner who, along with her sister, Moselle, will be graduating from IRSC at the end of the next semester. They are both owners of Rio Coco Beans Coffee Shop in Vero Beach, and they hosted a fundraiser on Sept. 21 – all profits are going towards a school they created in Utila, Honduras. We are proud to have been a part of their lives, to hear their stories, and to see how far they have come!
