About The Event

The Rotary Club of Vero Beach (Vero's 1st Club - 1926) proudly presents our 4th Annual Rotary Kids Triathlon.  Elementary and middle school children between the ages of 6-13 participate in a Swim, Bike, and Run multi-sport youth event geared for both 1st time triathletes and seasoned competitive triathletes.  There will also be a RELAY TEAM category in both the Junior and Senior Divisions, which allows children who may not be comfortable completing one or two of the three sport segments to have a friend or family member (or two) complete the segment(s) that they may not wish to complete.  Also, a child who is either a novice or a non-swimmer can be placed in a swim lane where they can walk on the bottom of the heated pool to complete the swim segment.  There is also an Adaptive Athlete Division for those children with a disability.

Under the management direction of Game On! Race Events, our event is Safe, Fun, and Professional. Race Central and the swim will be located at the Gifford Aquatic Center, the bike will be an out-and-back course along 43rd Avenue (closed for traffic, and within and adjacent to the Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex), and the run/walk will be entirely within the boundaries of the Victor Hart Sr. Park.  The $25 entry fee is among the lowest in the country, and all distances are short relative to all other triathlons, underscoring our objective to be all-inclusive for EVERY child. - NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY!

ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE PARTICIPANTS IN THIS KIDS TRIATHLON PROGRAM (including the FREE preparatory triathlon clinics commencing in the summer of each year).
